So before I begin the main topic of this journal, I want to say that the Goretober challenge was unsuccessful. Although we drew 20 different prompts, there was still 11 left to be drawn and unfortunately, we ran out of days and ultimately Goretober came to a screeching halt. Now, I know what you're asking, what went wrong? School and homework were part of the halt, but it hardly did any damage. From October 17 to 28, two of our cats fell ill and passed away, Frosty and Cinnamon. Because they became so ill, they became bedridden, unable to eat or drink, and laid in one of our rooms and hallways, respectively. To watch them slowly die with each passing hour was both devastating and uncomfortable events, which was why for those two weeks, I took a break from drawing. Now, I am not trying to put the blame on my pets for this abrupt ending but to memorialize these two cats, who gave our home love and we did the same for them.
Although the Goretober challenge stopped without a proper ending, It was fun, picking up new skills and discovering new techniques along the way! But guess what? This isn't why I called you here for.
*flashback sounds*
The year was 2011. At the time, we were ten years old. I walked down a road of possibilities, one of these were of becoming a doctor. As for drawing, my proudest works were comprised of stick figures and roller coasters that would soar high to the stars. Around here, I bought a diary for boys...

Okay, I know what you're thinking, why you are writing this? Along with the diary, came a lock and key, you can lock up your diary after your writing session! But what to do with the key? Well, I tied the key around a piece of string and put it around a small plush penguin...
Suddenly, there was a great big white light!
Along with it was a big boom!
Key the Penguin was born and along with it, the GToons Universe.
We were, however, unaware of this big bang. Unaware of where this would take me to...
After this point on, year after year, there would be new characters, new worlds, new skills...
Now, five years, 70 characters, and a thousand pictures later, GToons-Inc is ready to celebrate.
For a while, we debated on whether or not the "5 Years of GToons" should've been a personal celebration or not, Obviously we decided into making it a public celebration, considering that three of those five years have been made here in deviantART with a hundred people watching! Now, what about art?
Some of the plans made involve redesigning old characters and maybe even creating new comics!
Although the plans are not well-thought out, I hope you'll join me to see the content of the month!

Hi everyone. So, it's been a while since my so-called departure. Well, I kinda want to come back here.
Long story short, that second account stunt failed two months after I thought about it, so I was left to drift around for the rest of the year with just
Instagram to show pictures to others. Instagram was alright, but it was pretty lonely since I had no one to talk to and my art wasn't doing that well. That led me to go on hiatus repeatedly out of mental exhaustion, and school work as well.
I still drew here and there the past year, so I'm going to dump what I got here to catch up.
A Well-Rounded Edge
2018 was a pretty unique year. In both GToons-Inc and in my weasyl handle, were really quiet, quieter than it has ever been. I didn’t post as much nor was there But it didn’t mean it was quiet behind the scenes, far from it. The year was my best, in terms of the content I drew. Back then in my sketchbooks, I always focused on my character(s), and I never stepped out to attempt something new. But this year, I pushed myself to step out and improve on my skills, to draw new things that I have never drawn before. I was drawing things I never thought I would ever do. I was making mistakes and powering through my disappointment and ange
What Now?
Back in early March, I made a journal where I mentioned how busy was becoming at the time and it became increasingly hard to do art and schoolwork. I also mentioned an idea to do a month-long celebration honoring the 5 years that I've been here. For a while, I was doing a great amount of planning to do so.
With June nearing the end, I decided to not go forward with the plan.
Throughout the springtime, I was so apart from my hobbies, trying to keep up my grades so I didn't have to attend summer school, that the times I could draw for myself, I didn't have the same interest in both my established universes/characters and the "5 Years of GToon

This isn't mine, but my friend had it on his journal and I wanted to join in!
